How to use the caliper alignment tool for service of the brake calipers
Tools Needed
- Isopropyl
- Q-tips or small brush
- Hex or screw driver to loosen the brake capliper screws and remove the brake pad bolt
- Plastic lever or special brake service tool
Service Steps
- Disassemble the brake pads, push back all pistons with plastic lever or special brake service tool and insert the wheel
- Loosen the brake caliper bolts - do not remove the wheel (all pistons are in the pushed back position)
- Insert the Tool Block, the caliper align automatically during instertion with the rotor guiding
- Tighten the brake caliper bolts, than remove the Tool Block
- Assemble the brake pads
